Wilson, Salomon appoint Alley Group to performance account after pitch

Sydney-headquartered Alley Group, part of Nunn Media, has won the performance media account for Wilson and Salomon brands by owner Amer Sports.

Amer Sports has appointed Nunn Media-owned performance agency Alley Group to its brands Wilson and Salomon after a five-way competitive pitch.

Alley will manage all performance media strategy, planning and execution, driving customers to the Wilson and Salomon e-commerce platforms.

Wilson is one of the biggest equipment brands in sport, covering tennis, baseball, basketball, American football, golf, volleyball, soccer, softball, badminton and squash.

Salomon makes shoes for mountaineering, hiking, trail running and other sports.

“We have ambitious growth plans for the Wilson and Salomon brands across Australia and New Zealand and thus we needed the top partner in customer acquisition to drive revenue growth amongst our e-Commerce stores,” Nicholas Dion, Head of Digital ANZ at Amer Sports – which owns Wilson and Salomon – said.
