Accenture buys Fiftyfive5 to bolster Song's research capability

Accenture is bolstering its marketing services unit with the acquisition of research and insights business Fiftyfive5. Accenture Song local lead Mark Green said the addition is "timely" as clients struggle to keep pace with a rapidly changing market.

Accenture has acquired research outfit Fiftyfive5 for an undisclosed sum. The consulting firm said the move will strengthen marketing services arm Accenture Song’s ability to tap data insight to drive growth.

“Clients are struggling to keep up with the pace of change,” per Mark Green, Accenture Song’s ANZ boss: They are looking for creative solutions and strategic insights for growth. Fiftyfive5’s addition is timely. The team boasts powerful insights and deep customer understanding, which will significantly enhance Accenture Song’s customer intelligence capability. Importantly, Fiftyfive5 brings top talent, and we cannot wait to see what they can add to our growing team.”

Fiftyfive5 has a team of circa 200 people across Australia, Singapore, New Zealand and London.
