Kirsten Riolo has joined Nielsen as Head of Publishers and Platforms.

The measurement firm continues providing alternative measurement to publishers after losing after the IAB online measurement contract to Ipsos last year.

Riolo has 25 years research experience – and spent the last decade at Ipsos. She’s tasked with “reinventing and recharging” products and relationships with publishers and platforms, per Nielsen Australia Executive Director, Lucas Carreras.

Riolo said she would use Nielsen’s technical capability “to help fuel growth” for clients.

Nielsen Pacific boss Monique Perry said the move “shows our commitment to the industry and that we’re here to support our clients’ growth as they navigate customer-led transformation”.
