Oliver Newton promoted to Chief Sales Officer at JCDecaux

Oliver Newton has been promoted from GM of Sales to Chief Sales Officer

French out-of-home giant JCDecaux, has announced former General Manager of Sales Oliver Newton will immediately step into the role of Chief Sales Officer.

  • JCDecaux says he will lead the Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth agency and direct sales teams

Out-of-home media company JCDecaux has promoted Oliver Newton to Chief Sales Officer, effective immediately. 

Newton, previously the General Manager of Sales, will lead the agency and direct sales teams across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth, and will be responsible for engagement with media agencies, advertising partners and the OOH marketplace. 

JCDecaux said his appointment is part of several initiatives to "ensure that customer success is at the heart" of the business, and that he will also take overall responsibility for the JCDecaux Nurture program, which provides support for Australian start-ups. 

“I am incredibly honoured to take on the role of Chief Sales Officer, ensuring that we deliver exceptional client service and have customer success at the heart of everything we do," Newton said.

"We have a fantastic sales team across Australia at JCDecaux and I look forward to leading them to greater success.”

He has more than 15 years' experience in sales. He joined JCDecaux UK in 2006 as Business Development Manager, before joining JCDecaux Australia in 2010.
