Omnicoms Hearts & Science has won all above the line and digital media for indy brewer CBCo following a pitch. Now the brewer aims to go all out for growth.

Hearts & Science has won media strategy, planning and buying for craft brewer CBCo – which is pushing hard for growth and cut-through in a category that has become increasingly crowded since it began making beer in 2004.

Gerard Max, Hearts & Science Managing Partner, commented: “We’re delighted to have been appointed by this growing and innovative Australian-owned business. Following the competitive pitch we had a great chemistry session with the CBCo team.  We’re excited to be working with people who are so obviously passionate about what they do. The fact that we tried, tested and loved CBCo’s product is a wonderful bonus!”

Lawrence Dowd, CBCo Brewing Managing Director, commented: “As we embark on our first brand campaign in Australia we couldn’t be more excited to be partnering with Hearts & Science. We’ve ambitious growth targets for the brand, and in Hearts we’re confident we have found a team who are genuinely committed to our success.”

Hearts & Science promoted New Zealand boss Jane Stanley, pictured, to CEO of both the NZ and Australia business in March.
