Brett Poole promoted to APAC, AUNZ CEO role in regional GroupM shakeup

Brett Poole, who has led Finecast in Australia since it launched as the second market after the UK, has been promoted to CEO of APAC and AUNZ.

The Australian boss of GroupM’s television technology firm Finecast, Brett Poole, has been promoted to CEO of Finecast APAC and AUNZ in a regional management shakeup.
Poole, who has led the business since it launched in Australia in 2018, will remain in Australia but take more responsibility over the region.
Finecast comes under GroupM Nexus, which is the umbrella for the performance and tech companies in the media holdco.
“I’m thrilled to be given the opportunity to continue growing Finecast across APAC as part of GroupM Nexus,” he said in a statement.
“Television is experiencing tremendous metamorphosis throughout the world and there is huge potential to further our TV transformation efforts in APAC which is well-known for its diversity, talent and innovative spirit – all the things that are close to my heart.”
Poole has two decades of experience in product development, publishing, ad platforms and tech. He will report to Nicola Lewis, global CEO of Finecast, and Arshan Saha, CEO of GroupM Nexus APAC.
