Autohive launches AI platform for ANZ SMBs

Autohive has officially launched its AI platform in Australia and New Zealand. The platform is designed to enable small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) to create and utilise AI agents for task delegation.

The platform offers various use cases, including handling customer inquiries around the clock, transforming spreadsheet data into actionable items, and swiftly generating client proposals and reports. Businesses can also distribute or share AI agents they develop, potentially creating new revenue streams.

Autohive parent company Raygun has been in operation for over 18 years, serving clients in more than 120 countries. Notable clients include Domino's, HBO, and Virgin Atlantic. The company has leveraged its extensive experience to develop Autohive's technology, which is described as enterprise-grade and capable of integrating with existing business tools and data.

CEO of Autohive, John-Daniel Trask, said: "Raygun started scaling its business with AI two years ago, and through that time identified the challenges that even an engineering-heavy business faces when creating them... While they [AI agents] are hugely valuable to Raygun, we saw a significant opportunity in making the creation, discovery and execution of AI agents something that every business could leverage, not just IT-centric, enterprise level organisations."

Autohive's leadership team includes Trask as CEO, Lana Vaughan as COO, and Zheng Li as VP of Marketing. The company is currently seeking to expand its team by hiring a sales-focused AI engineer and a technical AI engineer. The existing team comprises over 20 engineers and sales staff.

"Autohive's technology has been years in the making, and we truly believe we are bringing a platform to the market that can make a significant difference for businesses across Australia and New Zealand," said Trask.

"This is reflected in the preliminary conversations we have been having with prospective customers and partners, both locally and in the U.S, who are particularly excited about the extent to which Autohive fosters collaboration between AI agents and team members, and its ability to help businesses scale immediately with the existing infrastructure and resources they have in place. There's no complex setup – just plug in and start automating."
