Nine unveils ad packages for Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Games
Nine is gearing up for the 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games in Milano Cortina, unveiling sponsor and partner advertising packages across its Total TV, Total Publishing, and Total Audio offerings.
Nine's coverage will extend over 2600 hours across the 9Network, 9Now, and Stan Sport, with additional content available through its audio and publishing assets. The commercial packages for advertisers will include cross-platform opportunities, sponsorships, and branded content.
The Winter Olympics will take place in various locations across Northern Italy, with Nine's operations based in the alpine village of Livigno. The 9Network's coverage will feature notable Australian Winter Olympic Gold medallists, including Torah Bright, Lydia Lassila, and Steven Bradbury. Additional expert commentators will include Olympic mogul skier Britt Cox, snowboarder Steph Prem, and alpine skier Jono Brauer. The commentary team will be comprised of David Culbert, Sami Kennedy Sim, Mitch Tomlinson, and Matt Hill, with further announcements regarding the lineup expected in due course.
More than 50 Australian athletes are anticipated to compete, including freestyle skier Jakara Anthony and snowboard halfpipe competitor Scotty James. The Paralympic Winter Games, marking the 50th anniversary of the inaugural event, will run from March 6-15, 2026. Up to 665 Para-athletes from 50 countries are expected to participate in 79 medal events across six sports.

Nine's coverage of the Paris 2024 Olympics reached 19.5 million Australians and was recognised with an IOC Golden Rings award for best coverage. For Milano Cortina 2026, Nine will employ augmented reality technology in its North Sydney studio, a technique previously utilised for Paris 2024.
