Expanding reach and measure,
TV's future gleams bright.

OzTAM expands VOZ Streaming with Nexxen DSP partnership
Oztam has named Nexxen DSP as the latest demand-side platform (DSP) partner for its VOZ Streaming service. Part of Nexxen's unified technology stack, Nexxen DSP joins existing partners Xandr and The Trade Desk in supporting the roll out of the programmatic BVOD trading service, which aggregates inventory across Australia's free-to-air broadcasters.
VOZ Streaming is designed to allow advertisers to de-duplicate BVOD reach and frequency measurement, while also enabling them to discover new audiences by revealing incremental BVOD audiences to broadcast TV. The service aims to optimise frequency and improve viewer experience through the implementation of frequency capping.
CEO of OzTAM, Karen Halligan, said: "We are excited to welcome Nexxen to VOZ Streaming, marking a key milestone in VOZ Streaming’s expansion as we continue to deliver on our roadmap, gain market adoption and implement new advancements in the programmatic BVOD landscape. Nexxen’s significant reach, particularly with independent media agencies, combined with our existing partnerships, continues to solidify VOZ Streaming as the go-to service for programmatic BVOD trading."
The integration of DSP Google DV360 is also planned, which is expected to further expand the reach of VOZ Streaming. This move aligns with OzTAM's strategy to enhance its service offerings and strengthen its position in the market.
OzTAM serves as Australia's official source of television audience measurement, covering both broadcast free-to-air television and BVOD viewing. VOZ Streaming is part of VOZ, Australia's 'Total TV' measurement standard, which is set to become the country's trading currency from December 29, 2024.
VP of Platform & Client Services, APAC at Nexxen, Janice Chan, said: "We look forward to bringing more scalable and precision-driven solutions to advertisers across Australia through our partnership with OzTAM. We’ve long been committed to providing advertisers with the tools they need to seamlessly plan, activate and measure TV across channels, and our integration with VOZ Streaming marks a significant step in enhancing our flexible TV solutions – empowering our clients and partners to drive results in the fast-converging TV landscape."
