Data management platform Zetaris has appointed Robert Herjavec as executive director of global strategy. Herjavec, known for his role on ABC's Shark Tank and his extensive experience in the cybersecurity industry, including the sale of Herjavec Group to Apax Partners in 2021, has also made a personal investment in Zetaris.

Described as a modern lakehouse for AI, Zetaris was founded by Vinay Samuel and is currently expanding its presence in the US and global markets. The company offers real-time analytics on disparate data at the source, which is described as a first-of-its-kind technological advancement. Its customer base spans various industries, including healthcare, financial services, retail, telecommunications, and government. Investors in Zetaris include Exto Partners and In-Q-Tel, among others. The company partners with major players such as NVIDIA, Cisco, Hitachi, Equinix, and IBM Cloud.

Herjavec continues to be involved with Cyderes, the rebranded Herjavec Group, as an investor, board member, and adviser.
