RedBook Inspect launches online marketplace to streamline vehicle safety checks

RedBook Inspect, a national vehicle inspection provider and part of carsales, has released a new Roadworthy marketplace. This initiative aims to connect car buyers and sellers with trusted third-party inspection providers across New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, and Western Australia.

The marketplace is designed to simplify the process of obtaining roadworthy and safety checks, which vary by state. Users can find nearby accredited providers, compare prices, and book services online, ensuring that vehicles meet applicable standards before being sold or registered.

In New South Wales, the state requires annual safety inspections for cars over five years old. Victoria mandates a roadworthy certificate for used cars being sold. Queensland requires a safety certificate for private car sales, while Western Australia demands inspections for unlicensed vehicle registration.

EGM of Consumer at carsales, Matt Earle, stated, "At RedBook Inspect, we're committed to making the process of buying and selling cars easier and safer. With our new Roadworthy marketplace, customers can quickly find a trusted provider near them, ensuring their vehicle is roadworthy and compliant with their state's regulations. It's all about providing ease and more confidence to car buyers and sellers."

RedBook Inspect's new initiative is part of its mission to enhance vehicle safety and transparency in Australia. By offering a streamlined platform for roadworthy checks, the company seeks to provide a more efficient and reliable service for car buyers and sellers across Australia.

RedBook Inspect is a subsidiary of carsales, a large player in Australia's digital auto marketplaces. The company offers mobile, fixed site, and remote technology inspection solutions and has conducted hundreds of thousands of inspections.
