The Pistol expands leadership team with two new account directors
The Pistol, a full-service digital marketing agency, has confirmed two new account directors. Rachel Fyfe, a long-term staff member at The Pistol, has been promoted to Account Director. Amy Peddlesden joins The Pistol as an Account Director from her previous role as Senior Client Strategy Director at Impressive Digital.
Fyfe will focus on building client relationships and mentoring future account leaders. She joined The Pistol in 2021 as a Senior Account Manager and has previous experience at GrowthOps and FWRD Agency.
"Rachel’s promotion reflects her incredible growth and dedication to our agency and clients’ business. She is a natural leader and strategic thinker, with a deep understanding of our clients, team culture and the way we work," Ashley Grey, The Pistol Group Account Director, said. "Her approach is rooted in innovation and a relentless drive to deliver meaningful results for clients. She has successfully led the growth of some our most complex client groups, while simultaneously nurturing and elevating the team around her. This promotion is a natural next step – I’m excited to see the leadership impact she’ll continue to bring in this next chapter."
Peddlesden will lead client relationships, develop strategic initiatives, and drive performance outcomes. She has experience in digital marketing and performance strategy, having worked at Impressive Digital and GrowthOps across various verticals including FMCG, retail, and financial services.
"I’m excited to be part of a team that values creativity and performance. I look forward to contributing to our clients’ success and driving meaningful results," Peddlesden said.
Jamie Nosworthy, The Pistol CEO, expressed enthusiasm about Peddlesden's addition to the team: "We are thrilled to have Amy join our team. Her strategic insight and dedication to client success make her a valuable asset as we continue to innovate and grow."
The appointments follow a successful financial year for The Pistol, with extended partnerships with clients such as MARS, Liquor Legends, Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, Forty Winks, and Prime Super. The Pistol also secured new clients including Jura, Bosch eBike systems, and UK outdoor retail leaders Cotswold Outdoor, Runner’s Need, and Snow + Rock.
The Pistol has been in operation for 11 years, helping brands achieve "double-digit ROI" and building strong foundations for sustained business growth. The agency has developed and sold proprietary technologies to address gaps in the digital media landscape.
"We’re excited to have both Amy and Rachel in these important roles. Rachel’s deep connection to our business and Amy’s fresh perspective are a powerful combination that will help us continue to evolve and deliver exceptional work," Nosworthy added.
Both appointments are effective immediately.
